Initially, a resident of Kuzbass entered the regional hepatological center of the regional Clinical Emergency Hospital named after Podgorbunsky with cholelithiasis. She needed a gallbladder removal.

- Already during the first examination, the doctors found out that the patient was not quite ordinary. Her heart beats not like everyone else - on the left, but on the right. Other organs are also mirrored. This occurs in one out of 10 thousand people, - said the Minister of Health of Kuzbass Dmitry Beglov.

According to doctors, in order to operate on "mirror" patients, special professionalism and skill are required.

- Surgeons are also mostly right-handed! I had to change the tilt of the operating table to make it more convenient to work, - Dmitry Beglov shared the details.

But the surgery was successful - the doctors coped. An unusual patient is already preparing for discharge.
