Last child injured in school shooting discharged in Izhevsk

The student was the last person to be treated in the republic after an emergency at an educational institution. "The boy will continue to be observed on an outpatient basis. In two months he will have a second course of rehabilitation," explained Elvira Pinchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government, who oversees the medical unit.
At the same time, according to Pinchuk, nine people - two adults and seven children - continue treatment in Moscow clinics today. They were severely injured and immediately after the tragedy were sent by plane of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to federal centers.
Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko reported on their well-being the day before. He clarified that one of the students is still in critical condition at the N.N. Burdenko. In addition, special attention is paid to a girl with a wound. The rest are on the mend.
On September 26, 2022, at school No. 88 in Izhevsk, her former student opened fire and then committed suicide. The victims of the shooting were 17 people, including 11 children. More than 20 students were injured. The attacker was previously under psychiatric care.
A criminal case was opened in the UK, the director of the private security company, whose employees guarded the educational institution, was sent under house arrest.
