Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 120Hz sAMOLED display, 50MP camera and Android 13 with One UI 5.0 – Samsung Galaxy S23 specs revealed
A day after the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S23 in the Geekbench software, the key technical characteristics of the smartphone became known.
What is known
The flagship of the new generation will be equipped with a 6.1-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED matrix-based display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner will be integrated into the screen, and a 10 MP front camera will be located in the cutout. Samsung Galaxy S23 will receive a triple main camera. Its resolution will be 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP. The main module will boast an optical image stabilization system.
The heart of the smartphone will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile chip. According to Geekbench, the maximum frequency of the processor will be 3.36 GHz. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will receive 8 GB of RAM, a 128/256 GB drive and a 3900 mAh battery with wired and wireless charging power of 25 W and 15 W, respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 will go on sale with One UI 5.0 firmware based on the Android 13 operating system. Note that the Plus version will have identical technical specifications except for battery capacity and screen size.
