She said that in fact these documents are already being implemented. “We have an absolute potential to notice imported drugs as domestic ones, especially since their quality is in no way inferior,” the Deputy Prime Minister said at a meeting on the development and production of high-tech medical equipment, isotope products and radiopharmaceutical drugs in Rosatom.

Golikova also added that a similar card will be created to replace foreign medical products with domestic counterparts.

Russia has the potential to replace foreign radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis and treatment of oncology, she specified. For the diagnosis of diseases, mainly cancer, Russia needs about 81 thousand packages of radiopharmaceuticals, for therapy - more than 2.7 million packages.
